Memory of Glory

I was typing some stuff in my Facebook when suddenly a Yahoo Messenger window pop-out. It was Jo'c. A good friend of mine since my athletic day at Burhan, UKM.

'Azx, ko taw ka Kak Nissa sudah bersalin?'

'Eh..yeke? x taw..hehehe..baby girl ke boy?'

'Boy la..jum kita pegi tengok'

'okai..boleh..tapi weekdays x boleh la.Kije balik lambat..penat..'

'tak pa la..kami pergi dulu la ya'

So that was how our conversation goes (in some ways and another).Who is Kak Nissa?Kak Nissa is our senior at Burhan and olahragawati for 2 years in a row! She was the one who rally us into doing well in athletics and burn the 'semangat kolej' in us..mind you,it burn good and well for all my years of studying. X padan ngan amek masters but dapat stay kolej..hehe..Semangat Buaya Burhan beb! (cehh..poyo plak rase..hahaha..).Jo'c and Ester became my good friends later in my degree year and my masters year. We had our fair share of fun together and it had been nothing but memorable. I remember Jo'c forcing me to run 400m for 3 laps during training ssession. hahaha..penat okai Jo'c! but then..because of that, the gold medal always belongs to me. I remember how other college fear us..when we registered for 4x400m and 4x100m..hehehe..they went 'ala..dorang ne x abiz lagi ke?' hehe..kesian korang, x merasa pingat emas.

Hurdles is Jo'c's favourite event.She ran fast..she ran alone.Sebab the others will always be like yardssss behind her.Ester sprint fast.100m is her favourite event. She zoomed like a wind and zoomed alone jugak..sbb others are left behind yardssss cam Jo'c juge. Me? 400m.I love running for 400m.We were well known and feared in our event..kan? They ran for UKM.I didn't.My commitment is and always for squash.. =)

Today, Jo'c is already married and pregnant with her first child ang working as sports officer at Pusat Sukan,UKM. Ester is pursuing her PhD at FST. I am working with some private company.Everyone keeps expecting me to stay and work in UKM like Jo'c and Ester.But at some point of my life,i feel it is time for me to go out and experience what the outside world has to offer.It's time for this reckless and rebellious bird to left the security of UKM nest..after 6 years.. (lame gile dok UKM!).We make quite a strong team when we are in a team..i hope we will stay as friend as long as we live..and grow old in our glory.When i bought a car,it will be black in colour.And it is mine..earn with my own money.That is our our vow.We are independent girls.Remember tak korang, aku pernah cakap..nanti bila kite lepak sama, kereta kita will park side by side..and semua nya black in colour.Ester dah ade Viva dia.Jo'c with her Getz..so now it left me and my car to complete the image.Sabar eh korang..wait for the moment of realisation.Tak lama dah lagi..heee~

To Ester and Jo'c : Remember our glory and our friendship.Thanx for being there, though not always and somehow we have grown apart, you both are still in my heart in my mind. Love you guys always-always..

To Kak Nissa : Congratulations on your first born Kakak!Siap la pas ne kitorang buli anak Kak Nissa time trening olahraga.Hee..~
