Truth is, I am tired and so beat that I'm sure I'll doze to dreamland the soonest I lay my head on the pillow.
Truth is, I still got gazillion of mails screaming my name, whimpering, squealing and whining for my attention in the ever so efficient Outlook mail. I secretly pray and hope that due to some satellite glitch or something whatever, tomorrow we will be facing some server problems which overall affected the company's email domain name. Ha!
Truth is, I have to be translating the script right now instead of typing this entry. But, what the hell. I wanted a break from the bloody cartoon and their unbearably childish story with no intense climax. Unfortunately, I have another 2 episodes grumbling impatiently in my lappy to be translated from English to Malay while the original video is in Japanese, which unfortunately I have to watch in order to put in the timeline. Oh did I mentioned I am a part time script translator now? Greedy much. Get rich or die trying, as 50 cent would said.
Truth is, I so desperately wanted to go squashing or swimming or jogging or just hangout and chilling with my friends. But here I am, typing away at this entry. While eating some peanuts and drinking some left-over Coke from ad-hoc picnic the other day. While wondering if I may win in the tournament this weekend.
Truth is, I am kinda homesick. I miss my parents, my grandparents, my siblings' crazyness, my cousins slapstick-ness and Alayna Zahra's cuteness. Oh yeah. Of course, the Xbox Kinect too. How can I forget the ever wonderful Kinect which bond us all together in the ever competitive games of either about snots or lewd dance or the athletic games.
Truth is, I should end this now or I may not be able to get anything done. Oh well.
Participated in this tourney with sparring partner, Luqman under team name of T-Rex. HAHA. Such an ambitious name. This is our first time playing in a double competition because we are actually a single player and man, it was super fun and seriously, we were hooked hands down! The tournament consists of a mass of fun and familiar faces, a bunch of muscle aches and free flow of foods, not to mention playing squash randomly with everybody all day till you want to die. Since I am a player, consuming too much food will somehow effect my game, so I was restraining myself until my last match of the day and eat like nobody's business. Little sister Anys came along for support, konon-kononnya, but actually she was always tagging along whenever I went for a tournament and was scoffing on those pastries and sandwiches like a pig. Boring study katanya, nak cuci mata watching the nationals junior players *eye rolled*. Too bad her partner in crime, my little brother Boy went to watch rugby matches and unable to join her or else, all hell will go loose. At least my hell. She made it a point to tell everyone how I am her 'adorable gemok pendek sister' whenever my friend made a remark 'Wahhh Anys tingginya!'. Impertinent little sister aren't you Anys. Pffttt!
Black+White : Training session with Luq and adapting my cool-all-new Technifibre white eyeglasses
Though this is our first experience in playing doubles, both of our combined (Luqman and Me) strength made us 'the underdog to be watched'. Jangan main-main! Hahaha. We made it as far as to the semis but lose both sets in sudden death. Bummer. The opponent won against us with only just one point! Kecewa betul. Anyway, I am proud to be the player who scored most of our points in both matches and manage to wow the spectator with some of my signature killer shots. Its funny to look at Anys face which was full of amazement and gaping in awe when the crowd cheered. Hahaha. Close your mouth Anys or you'll choke on a lalat later. Nevertheless, we still lose but hey, it's the most exciting experience ever! and we can always win again next year right? :) Next doubles tourney will be on February in Singapore, then in Bangkok and Singapore again then back to Malaysia, and I was proposed by 3 clubs to play for their team in this coming RSC Tiger Trophy Open Tournament. Teehehehe. Felt like some hotshot football player who was fought over by Man U, Chelsea and Man City. I was still considering the options though because I like to be in the underdog team, with those I usually trained and sparred with. Less pressure on winning and more about fun but if I wanted to play seriously, I'd better choose one of those clubs because if the club are sending us to play oversea, half of the expenses will be covered. Jimat! And team entrance fees are usually fully sponsored. How cool is that? Entrance fees ain't cheap for squash tourney. Tiger Trophy itself cost a team RM300 per entrance. So I'd better make up my mind about joining those clubs because I am seriously lookin' forward for the coming Tiger Trophy and the first jumbo in Singapore. Can't wait! :)
The underdog : T-Rex team and our own self-designed and self-made shirt. Kau ado? XP
You told me to meet someone better than you and be happy,
You're just like all the other guys,
What happened to when you told me that you loved me?
Honestly I don't want you to be happy,
What am I going to do if you really forget about me?
I'm in so much pain, more pain than I can bear,
Because I'm still in love with you.
P/s : It was one of those boring day at the office where all I wanted to do is play games, listen to the musics and watched some Korean variety shows, while ignoring those incoming emails. But we don't really get everything we wanted right? *sigh and revert back to work* Damn all you Goddamn engineers!
We all have that one person close to us, who drifted apart due to the demand of life, study and whatever.
I have known him since 5 years ago, when he was still just an SPM school leaver and I was in my third degree year in Uni. We met while working as a volunteer at Petrosains ( I was on my semester break, he had just received his SPM result) and became closer when we were selected to be part of the school holiday team. Since we rode the LRT using the same route, we always went home together after work, stopping by here and there along the way to LRT station. Where there is him, there is me.
He was one of those who are blessed with brain, good looks, tall and good manner. Manja pun ya. Every morning he would asked me to make him Milo whenever we hang out at the pantry with the other volunteers, after/before Roll Call. Everyday when we went home, we will passed the Roti Boy shop. The smell of the buns, oh man, it is sooo yummy. But during that time, we don't really have lots of money to spend or to be wasted on some fancy food, so most of the time we would just gave each other a pitiful glance and drooled longingly for the hot buns. Then the paycheck day came. Aha. That will be the day, we will buy Roti Boy and eat together on our way to LRT. Savouring each bite as if it is food came from heaven. Ok, that's too much exaggeration. We were not that poor, it is just that we do not have extra money to waste. Get it? If he had extra money, he would treat me a Roti Boy and vice versa. Hehehe. We also had the same coloured jacket, which we wore on top of our Petrosains shirt and had a habit of wearing mp3 while waiting for the LRT. Sweet tak? I told you we are close :)
Then, as he went away to do his preparation at this one college, before flying to UK to pursue his degree, and I resume my studying at Uni (I was accepted to further my Masters), we would text one another occassionally. But I guess along the way, we were caught up with our own life, love life, and activities, we kinda drifted apart. When he flew to UK, we did not even say goodbye to one another and we just followed each other's update through Facebook (at least I did, when I missed him)
After 4 years.
I do not really know why and how but I have this urged to FB msg'd him. As I scanned our chat history, seems like last we talked, was like a year ago, during Raya. HAHA. So we end-up making an effort to see one another on this one particular night, during Soton vs Man U match. Gosh, how he had matured! Hansome gila ok! Haha. He bought me this one Manchester United shirt, like a year ago before coming back to Malaysia for holiday, but we never got the chance to meet up. So I never get to receive the shirt. Now that we did, I was really touched because he still keep it for me. Awww, sweet sangat haa! One of the most funny moment during one of our date was when he reprimanded me because I forgot to perform my Asar prayer after we went to his friend's openhouse. Seriously? I was taken aback and a bit speechless. Terus terdiam. Hahaha. You are not suppose to be garang with someone older than you tau! GARANG dah macam abang-abang pulak tu. Oh well, along the 4 years gap, I wonder since when we switched roles. Haha. When we met, somehow it feels like the 4 years of silence was not even there. I felt like, we never really was apart THAT long. It feels nice to go Roti Boy-ing again with him, reminiscing about the past. Ish. Rasa macam sangat tua! And this time, we have all the money to buy and eat Roti Boy sampai muntah. Not to mention ronda-ronda sana-sini makan and makan. Ish. Gemok.
I realize, its been a while since I laughed this much. He'll be leaving for UK again later this week, and I know, nanti mesti rinduuuu~ (especially ayat favourite dia : Jom solat! ).
We all have that one person close to us, who drifted apart due to the demand of life, study and whatever. But we can always choose to close the gap and never let something so sweet, been taken away again :)

p/s : It was one of those crazy day at the office and unbearably mind-stressing. Trust me, I felt like crying the moment I get in my car. But hey, I am made of the stronger stuff. All of Anak Azlan are :) Been doing some light workout during Ramadhan especially on my arms and tummy. The monkey act on top left pic is a proof, the workout , well, work-out. Hehehe. No shorts next time missy.
This was how we spend our 1st Syawal at Negri Sembilan. Of course this happened after beraya-raya from Negri Sembilan to Malacca and back. Banana boat and Donut boat, the hardcore style. So hardcore, I split my lips from bumping into little sister's Titanium head during the fall. My lips was bleeding all the time we were riding the boat and I can barely eat or talk afterwards. Haha. What a memorable Raya and nothing beats having fun with your cousins and siblings, playing meriam buluh war with kampung sebelah (and we win, of course. Or else, our dads would be very ashamed of us. They hold the Champion title during their time), cooking rendang and lemang with cousins, Nenek, Abah and Uncles, pointlessly chasing the chicken around kampung just because you dont know how to catch it (how the hell am I suppose to know how to catch that furry-two-feet beast? duhh..) and yeah, that epic moment when we (me, sibs, cousins and our Dads) got chased with this really long parang by Nenek because we played meriam buluh with tin and the sound was so bloody loud, it suprised her and she drop the bowl of kacang she was carrying. Hihihi. Sorry Nenek~ Abah and his brothers had to go to the shop to buy new kacang while we have to dry-fry it. Padan muka. Despite everything that happened this past 3 months, I find that I am able to smile again, surrounded by the unconditional loves of family. Thank you Allah SWT for your blessing. Alhamdulillah.
This is our unconventional way of celebrating Raya. How did you spend yours?
Jubayr ibn Nufayr reported that Mu'adh ibn Jabal said: "If you love someone, do not quarrel with him and do not annoy him. Do not ask others about him, for the one you ask might be his enemy and thus tell you things about him that are not true and thus break you apart.”
"Az, you punya Status Log sudah siap ka? Tomorrow meeting with bos make sure everything is settled. Itu you sudah shoot email to Catherine from Sapura?"
Empunya ketawa terkebil-kebil. Cis, tengah buat lah ni. Semua kepala kembali menghadap skrin laptop masing-masing. Si empunya ketawa kembali memakai headphone dan buka browser. Layan Youtube kejap. Esok meeting belasah jelah apa pun. Dalam resume dah cakap dah, able to work independently with minimum supervision and prompt in meeting dateline. HAHA. Poyo. Buat masa ni mari layan Beach Boys dulu. Senyum.
When all around you are confusion and corrupted people whom have been doomed into the condemnation of corrupted soul, for letting themselves being corrupted by the blasphemy of $$$,
p/s : I was just exaggerating. No, they aren't a condemned corrupted soul. They are hard working people who deserve to be getting a fat bonus this year whilst I am just this one lazy coolie with headphones and oblivious about the rat race. Err, internet tak ada so tak leh buat kerja. Hiks!
She is, my officemate. Her name is Ayu. Tak takut bergaya walaupun bertudung and she is super cute~ petite like Kylie Minogue and suits most of the clothes even untuk budak-budak *envy*. She inspired me to wear tudung and still look chic (macam lah time free hair tu stylo sangat.bahhh~) and chided me whenever I played squash and wear skirts (that's something I found hard to change but still working myself towards changing). Macam mak-mak kan? But sometimes it does feels good to be scolded or chided by someone. I am, too carefree for my own good at times. Hehehe. Another one is Liz, very direct and buat kerja dengan laju. Stylishin her own way and always reminding me 'Nyahhhh mana report IR-19 si Fazli ni?" or "Beb, jangan lupa call Catherine Sapura Acergy and mintak dia respond quotation semalam". Thank God for someone like her. This is us, during one of our lunch hour roaming at Sunway Pyramid. Best kan opis depan shopping mall? Cara mudah untuk jatuh miskin sebelum tengah bulan. Heee~
Ayu with her purple dress and Gold heels. Mummy vogue you're super cool~
Liz on the right. So ayu in her baju kurung but check out her heels. That's a steal! Sila abaikan Si Gemuk beside Liz. Thank you.
So lepas ni whenever anybody compliment me about my gypsy style, I would say : If you think I am beautiful, praise Allah for the blessing. If you think I looked chic, praise Allah for sending Ayu and Liz my way.
p/s: Kerja banyak and merindui Wanne. How is Mummy Yad-yad tu at Technip agaknya? =)

20. What will you post this as?

There you have it. No, this entry is not THAT educational. I don't think I am THAT qualify to give a detail explanation. Hehehe. I am just giving some ideas to those who don't really know the theory. Inception people, this is inception. reading are at your own risk. Dont say I do not warn you. Tee-Hihihi.
So I heard, most of you do not really understand the Einstein's Relativity Theory. Owh, its a piece of cake. Now let me help you understand the theory. There are two theory of relativity, the special relativity (basically about every elementary things) and the general relativity (or gravitational theory). Here is one of the most understandable explanation for relativity, quoted from the man of theory himself:
When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. But let him sit on a hot stove for a minute and it's longer than any hour. That's relativity.
(An explanation of relativity which he gave to his secretary Helen Dukas to convey to non-scientists and reporters, as quoted inBest Quotes of '54, '55, l56(1957) by James B. Simpson; also inExpandable Quotable Einstein(2005) edited by Alice Calaprice) - Taken from here.
Now do you understand the Relativity Theory? Easy enough right. You don't even have to be a physicist to understand the idea. Just leave all the details to the physicist. How I wish my professor would use THIS definition to help me understand the theory back in my second year in university.
Now, this is my own invention of explanation on Relativity Theory yawww~
Spend an hour in a shopping mall with a million in purse, it seems like a minute. Spend an hour in a shopping mall with nada money in purse, it seems like eternity. That's relativity.
Okai, honestly, I ain't Twilight's biggest fan. I don't even like watching the movie and the books wasn't even on the list of my Must Buy books ( and I am a bookworm who read almost everything, including the pamphlet). But to be fair, most of Twilight OST are such an ear candy. Irresistable. Especially this one. Specially dedicated to my Buncet, Monmon, Aied, Tom, Alee, housemates, friends who treasure me and yeah, my families ❤ .
Happy listening people!
Don’t just say, goodbye I’ll pick up these broken pieces ’til I’m bleeding If that’ll make it right
Cause there’ll be no sunlight If I lose you, baby There’ll be no clear skies If I lose you, baby Just like the clouds My eyes will do the same if you walk away Everyday it will rain.
