Roaming! (CNY Edition) Roadtrip #3 : Pusat Pemeliharaan Gajah, Kuala Gandah, Lanchang, Pahang

Heyya..wassup homosapiens! Been rather busy thiz lately (same old excuse bila lambat update entry..hehehe) and got tonnes of stuff to sort. So how's korang punye Chinese New Year Holiday? Sure smashing and fun ha? Btw..hope it is not too late to wish all my chinese fwens Happy Chinese New Year, may the year of tiger brings you guys lots of joy, prosperity and err..courage to pursue your secret dreams! Yeah! hehe..For us yang x celebrate Chinese New year, we spend our holiday balik kampung and such..rite? During Chinese New Year Hols, me and my besties (wish Yus+Merl and Ing Hoes could be us too..), my sibs : Anys and Baby, and several other fwens : Floe, Sida and Ila (Jo'c pny adik and kazen) decided to visit Pusat Pemeliharaaan Gajah situated at Lanchang, Pahang. The journey took us approximately about 2 hours and 30 mins from Bangi to Lanchang. Our first stop was at Karak R&R for breakfast. My sis Anys and Adda kept complaining how cold it was there. Sure la adik, we're nearing the Genting Highland taw..plus, you guys are wearing shorts, mana x sejuk. Duhh~

Our journey picked up after fueling on nasik lemak and mi sup and such. This was the first time I ever drove on the Karak highway..owh it's fun all rite especially when you were racing with your bestie. Hehehe..The route is easy enough. You just follow the main highway till you arrive at Lanchang exit. From there, turn right at the T-junction and just follow the signage..following the signages and maps and asking for direction is the thrill of road-trip. So don't go spoilling it all by being too prepared.Hehehe..the joy of getting LOST..nah, no grumpy feeling either when it happens okai? It will spoilt all the fun. You learn new things out of being lost. Hehehe..Okai, as we nearing the elephant conservation area, there are several Orang Asli hut by the road, a fishing pond and of course, greenery. It felt so peaceful being surrounded by nature..dunt expect the road to the elephant farm to be all smooth and slick.Not! hehe..what do u expect? We're in the middle of nowhere here...

Upon parking at the open parking space, we're greeted by this hut. Sorry, the pic was ain't too clear (Floe ar neh..) and the common group pic taken at the signage =) . Okai to get all of the opportunity offered by this place you nto come reallyyyyyy early so you can get the limited Yellow sticker..or pre-book your place. Huhuhu..walopon this place is free, tapi the Yellow sticker is limited to early bird or pre-booked only. Us? Kitorang just settle for the Red sticker. Ada 3 types of sticker which indicate different activities the wearer will be joining. Yellow means korang bleh join semua aktiviti melibatkan gajah dewasa (mandi + ride + feed), Red means korang bleh join aktiviti melibatkan anak gajah (no riding the baby + bathe + feed) and Green means, korang cuma bleh bagi makan and tengok jer Si Yellow dan Si Red berseronok.. Event actually start at 1 p.m. Korang cuma perlu datang awal untuk rebut sticker jer la.

Ramai jugak la visitors to this place..I wasn't expecting it actually. Hehehe..Sy mati-mati pujuk Ester supaya setuju dengan plan sy nak g tengok gajah. She ridicule me for sometimes and being a good fwen she alwiz is, turut kan jugak kemahuan sy. Thanx bestie.. *hugs+kisses* Below are some photos taken at the elephant farm..Enjoy your viewing!

The area agak panas but we had fun feeding the baby elephant and goofing around with one another. The perimeter of the area was not too big, there are small river running through for the purpose of bathing with the elephant and several gazebos for visitors to rest. Public toilet and shower room is also equipped in this place so you dunt have to worry about changing after bathing with the elis. Kitorang x stay lame pon dekat tempat ne due to cuaca yang sangat panas (sampai jadi tanned..hello..mid-day kowt!) and sebab semua orang dah boring.. (short-attention span semua nye!) and yes..HUNGRY~ So we decided to leave Pusat Pemeliharaan Gajah to go and hunt for food and gas station and planned our next roaming place. Dah datang jauh-jauh dari KL to Pahang ne, x kan nak balik macam tuh jer kan? Ahaks!..So sy tinggalkan korang semua untuk enjoy tengok gambar-gambar kami wif the elis for the time being okai?
